I clean all types of flooring for a living and also do water damage restoration. Coretec and LVT is a much better choice than pergo but it’s waterproof ability is being oversold. Nothing offers more durability, value and water resistance in hard flooring than ceramic or porcelain tile. Carpeting these days is more durable than its ever been and no floor covering offers more warmth than carpet....not to mention it’s extremely affordable. Hardwood is unparalleled in its beauty but a poor choice for larger dogs... Just wanted to chime in as I’m noticing some drawbacks on the trend of LVT
