Hi Zeb Ferguson, I just received an order from Sheffields.com I found their prices to be fair comparatively. Other sources I'm currently looking into include: Www.Jlhudsonseeds.netWww.Treeseeds.comwww.treeshrubseed.com Burnt ridge nursery carries some nursery seed. Lawyer nursery has an extensive seed list. England's orchard nursery carries premium paw paw genetics among other things. eBay can be surprising.

I've had some success with seeds from Tradewindsfruit.com, Seedman.com, and OikosTreeCrops when they're available, but the quantities were very small for the price. I know I'm being picky here, because the price is minuscule in comparison to the potential of the plants, but I am also living very frugally at the moment. Necessity dictates that I seek out the most cost effective sources.

it'll be site specific, near a house or thermal mass such as a septic tank increases odds that it'll survive. Focus more on growing a bush rather than a tree. Best thing is to find sucessful older figs in the ground in your area and take cuttings.
