Doesn't Dr. Jennifer Cattet with Smart Animal Training Systems run a Diabetic alert dog program? You might want to check as I'm fairly certain she does.
Beth F. replied:
Not all diabetic alert dog programs are created equal. Some are charging huge amounts of money for "scent imprinted" puppies that are no where near ready to be service dogs. I would recommend starting at the Assistance Dogs International website ( http://www.assistancedogsinternational.org/ ) They only deal with accredited organizations and have a data base that is searchable by what kind of serviced dog you are looking for and the geographical area.

I am looking for recommendations for preschool. I know they are closed right now. I am just wanting to do research for my three year old. Thank you in advance!
Gillian S. replied:
There are a lot of in-home daycares that provide both. Unfortunately, I don't have any availability but you can check out licensed childcare homes at www.sccca.info I think the problem you may find is that preschools don't take the younger ones.
Allene S. replied:
We had the hardest time finding one that would work for us. We LOVED the Bridge School. https://www.srbridgeschool.com

https://www.facebook.com/ChristMethodistPreschool/ on Yulupa. Don't disregard because of the name - it is not church-affiliated. Just the building where the school is located. This is an absolute gem of a school! Must be potty trained though. We were also very happy at Rosebud and maybe that would work better with your younger.\
Does anyone know the link or place that is giving extra Halloween costumes out to children in need?We have some children here at the preschool that might need a costume.

Which school was it? I work for a local non profit, Early Learning Institute. We have free, First 5 funded consultation services for preschools around social - emotional development and are reaching out to meet with teachers to discuss how to support themselves and the children to recover from the trauma of the fires. I was going to say Tiny Treasures. One of mine also went through the town of Windsor, Montessori in Motion. They both are great.

If you're willing to make the trip, Live Oak in Healdsburg is excellent. We lived in Windsor when we started our daughter there. We now live in Forestville and we still make the drive because it's so great.

I remember it bring called Christian Life Center, went to summer school and couple of times. Had cool field trips, even went to Marine World when it was still in the Bay Area, was too cool to get wet at whale show, and my Mom got married there in 1996 when her church was there. Mom's church is Santa Rosa Calvary Chapel.
Lisa B. replied:
It will always be Christian Life Center to me... But did go to my senior prom there and got married there when it was Luther Burbank Center...guess I need to start making new memories now that it's The Wells Fargo Center..
Damon H. replied:
You mean it's not called The Cristian Life Center anymore? LOL: )
Damon H. replied:
Benny Friedman of the Friedman Brothers, He was one of the original “donating civic leaders who rescued the Christian Life Center from bankruptcy in 1981 and delivered it as a present to the arts and culture community as the Luther Burbank Center of the Arts. It was where I went to church as a kid. It was The Christian Life Center then.

Watson Argue.. Pastor at Christian Life Center. He got mixed up in some big scandal in the late 70's or early 80's, can't remember what it was all about, but they sent him packing.
