Does everything have to be relevant or valuable to warrant discussion? As humans are we not allowed to pass some of our time conversing about things that have no consequence? I mean there's a lot of rainforest vanishing every second, but I doubt you put a lot of effort into that cause while you are twisting your dreads. There are children starving in Africa but that doesn't mean you can't take a moment to not think about that while you do your laundry. When you take the time to put henna flowers on your hand, or check your astrology readings, isn't that time that could better spent helping to house the homeless? The time you took to chastise your friend for spending her time in a way you find frivolous you could have done more productive things as wel. Siddhi have you noticed how contrarian and offputting your interactions with other humans have grown in the last few years, this is twice now in a few months I have seen you fly off the handle because somebodies joke put you on the offense. It would seem your passion for politics is coming at the expense of your personal relationships, this is an issue that we discussed heavily when studying Political Science. Instead of telling people how much better they could be spending their time how's about you concentrate on making sure you feel proud of how you dedicated your time. I mean you even say "nitpicking peoples lifestyle and love choices has never seemed constructive to me. but to each their own" while yourself nitpicking somebodies lifestyle choice, in that Samantha wants to spend her time sharing and discussing things that interest her, despite your insitance that it is irrelevant or a misallocation of her time. http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/265/355/376.jpg

It's a shame you say that one person can't make a difference and that you don't see anything that has changed. Perhaps this article can illuminate the flat out misrepresentation of the peoples history that statement is. http://dissidentvoice.org/2014/02/the-efficacy-of-combative-resistance/

Well Petra, I have to disagree with you that there isn't an Islamic legal precedent which, in perpetuity, condones child-marriage. (remember all Islamic legal precedents are those actions taken by Muhammad himself, what is collectively known as "Sunnah"). Let me bust this down for y'all, and if anyone gets offended, lemme know. Allah in His Qur'an merely allows for child marriage, and does not explicitly recommend it (This verse is speaking of the 'Iddah, or prescribed waiting period for Divorce: "And (as for) those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, if you have a doubt, their prescribed time shall be three months, and of those too who have not had their courses; and (as for) the pregnant women, their prescribed time is that they lay down their burden; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah He will make easy for him his affair." - Qur'an 65:4 as you can see here, prepubescent girls can be divorced, viz. they can be MARRIED. That is Allah's precedent, but only half of Islamic Law is based on the Qur'an - the other half is based on the Sunnah (traditions) of Muhammad, as elucidated in the Hadith collections, (in other words it is half based on the words, and deeds, statements and silences of Muhammad himself. Lets see what that has to say about child-marriage. Aisha narrated that the Prophet married her when she was six years old, and he consummated her in marriage when she was nine years old. Then she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death). - Sahih Muslim 8:3310 So, as we can see from these two (of many) Islamic scriptural sources, which are the foundation of Islamic Law, that child marriage is a right given to all Muslim men, in that nothing which the Prophet forbade can be practiced, and nothing he allowed can be forbidden. This is the opinion of the vast majority of scholars in Shari'ah, for instance: "A man can marry a girl younger than nine years of age, even if the girl is still a baby being breastfed. A man, however is prohibited from having intercourse with a girl younger than nine, other sexual acts such as foreplay, rubbing, kissing and sodomy is allowed. A man having intercourse with a girl younger than nine years of age has not committed a crime, but only an infraction, if the girl is not permanently damaged. If the girl, however, is permanently damaged, the man must provide for her all her life. But this girl will not count as one of the man's four permanent wives. He also is not permitted to marry the girl's sister. - statement from the late Ayatollah Khomeini. "Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, who also married minor Ayesha, when she was just eight years old. The new law [seeking to ban child marriages] initiated by the current government [of Bangladesh] will put the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge. Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women." -Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini

MuscleMatrix Gym has 5 personal trainers. It's not terribly expensive for the guidance, knowledge and support a trainer provides. The fees are based on whether you want a 1 x program to follow on your own or if you want multiple sessions in the gym. Some trainers will come to your home for a higher fee, some will do online training too! Thaddeus Reiger, Merci Swafford Hoskins and Leslie Wood.
