Another source for great assistance with land rehabilitation is the Natural Resources Conservation Service. I believe this is State of Colorado Agency that among other things does assessments of ranch land to come up with rehabilitation strategies.

Any tips/ideas for a marketing demonstration to a CEO of a finance company. Looking a team building activities. Have around 1 1/2 hours and 3 horses. Thanks!

Well, after basic grounding and body scan, I would definitely suggest extended liberty meet if you have enough space and the facilities, debriefing, then maybe a haltering and leading exercise in pairs, grooming, saddling with bareback pad or saddle using brain game in pairs or triples. Could do an obstacle course at liberty or with one or two lead ropes or driving reins. Depends on how many people you have and take turns if needed. If a big group could just start with letting them observe the horses for a bit what horse do they identify with, why? Meet the horses, find out what they like or where their bubble/boundaries are, etc. That'll take you through the first 45 min -1 hour - everyone will want to talk about it. Then a short exercise for team building, should be lots of fun! But don't go into all that for the presentation, i think. Got to keep something up your sleeve, but can just show them a lot of the articles and facts on the effectiveness of this work - check out those links/resources not he Humans and Horses FB Group page. too )) good luck! Oh should say I am not EAGALA trained.

Separate the group into 4 smaller groups. Have them move out of hearing from each other. Give each group a task but don't let the other groups know what their task is!! This is super important to the activity! Group 1 - Peace Keepers (they must help all other groups in their perceived tasks) Group 2 (move all horses without equipment to the centre of the workspace) Group 3 (move each horse to separate corner) Group 4-trouble makers (try and stop any other group from achieving task) add additional groups/tasks as needed to accommodate group size. We did this in the training I was at. Emotions were high. This is a great ground breaker!

Hi Mariël Schaefers... from California! ;) So EquiSure in the states carries their policies through Lloyds of London - perhaps check with your companies in Holland and see who writes policies with Lloyds of London - then explain what coverage you need. It's potentially an educational for your insurance companies in your wonderful country. Thanks, and hopefully you find someone!

I've used Hallmark Equine for my boarding and each year of renewal you estimate events. I also know Equisure is familiar with EAP work so you may want to check them out. I'll probably be switching to them when my current policy expires.
