I really like the Happy Buddha on Convoy, they do a $30 1-hour reflexology massage that is heavenly.

Lotus Spa on Convoy has some good therapists. I usually ask for 'hard pressure' and they do the thing where they walk on your back. $40 for body massage, $20 for foot massage, 1 hour. Plus you can get some waffle with gelato or shave ice after next door =)

My new go to place is Therapie day spa in Ocean Beach. I had a massage with Joanna and she was great. They have an ad in the San Diego reader for buy one get one free. So one $60 massage and then they give you a gift cert for another.

I've been to http://www.yelp.com/biz/spa-serenity-poway and it was great. $40 if I remember correctly, for a full body massage.

Essential BodyWorks, Landon Ross. I used to be on a paddling team with him, and he is awesome. He specializes in Lomi Lomi style, and frankly, I couldn't recommend a better therapist.

just a note most of the realy good massage therapists dont know much about marketing so if you strait to them instead of going threw a spa you'll get better rates. anybody charging more than $75 an hour is is over charging unless they have at least a bachelors in holistic health or TCM also ask if they have an HHP or an MT if they dont have at least an MT leave
