Hi Paula, welcome to the neighborhood! We put an addition on our house 2 yrs ago and used American Remodeling/Ben DePrenger. 941-479-2729. They did a great job. Attention to detail throughout. The workers were respectful and picked up everything each night. They set a high bar for any other contractor who will come behind them.

Hi Paula! Welcome Welcome! My husband & I made the decision to move to the valley almost 25 years ago, and we haven't had a second thought since. We love it here, and built our home ourselves on Rockinghorse. My husband used to be a GC up north (but now works in commercial AC), and I'm an Interior Designer. So when you decide on your GC, please give me a call (941-924-1778) since getting a designer in on the ground floor is a good thing to help you save money, aggravations, and mistakes. I have helped many an home owner in the early stages of building by helping them with specifications. I also have several lines of cabinetry, and design and install for clients as well. I do have a few GC's that I have some knowledge about. One is Robert Dyan (Dyan Contruction) 941-377-6644, the other is Ron O'Brian (Design Remodeling Solutions) 941-375-0124. Both are very good. Please contact me anytime for anything else I can help you on.
