Id say a reef racer or zig zag. zig zag is supposed to be better. both have 380 size motors that can be swapped for brushless.

There is the Hobbyking Serpent 2 / Vitality FT007 / Helion Lagos / Feilun FT007. All the same boat. Dirt cheap. There is also the Feilun FT009 which is a bit bigger.

I think you are going to have trouble with a fast boat in a swimming pool, unless it's a *really* big pool.

FT 007. It's the best for a swimming pool size body of water where you will get tight turns and good speed but still have appropriate mini-size for the pool. [One example for 30 bucks, so not a big drain on your wallet, either.](http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/TBMBOAT1RED.html)
