Id say a reef racer or zig zag. zig zag is supposed to be better. both have 380 size motors that can be swapped for brushless.

There is the Hobbyking Serpent 2 / Vitality FT007 / Helion Lagos / Feilun FT007. All the same boat. Dirt cheap. There is also the Feilun FT009 which is a bit bigger.

FT 007. It's the best for a swimming pool size body of water where you will get tight turns and good speed but still have appropriate mini-size for the pool. [One example for 30 bucks, so not a big drain on your wallet, either.](http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/TBMBOAT1RED.html)

We have decided to at least start considering a pool for the house (Steve is out voted 4-1 on this one). Does anyone have any recommendations for a pool builder? How...
