I can recommend Penney Murphy and Associates. They've been very helpful to me dealing with the grief of my wife's death.

Not trying to hijack thread, but if anyone knows of a good therapist for a gambling problem, please feel free to suggest one.

Picking a therapist is sort of like picking a general psychian. Not every therapist will work for you. Not every therapist that works for someone else, will work for you. This a great website to see profiles of counselor and psychologists in Saskatoon (some offer online services) along with their specialities: https://www.theravive.com/cities/sk/counselling-saskatoon.aspx

I've seen Sheena McCallion at Crossroads and she's been quite good for anxiety and relationships stuff. I've heard good things about Joanne with Momentum Counselling. Jai Richards is fantastic but he doesn't always have openings for new people.

Saskatoon addiction's and mental health has free therapists to talk to . You can find them online if you Google it. There in the sturdy stone building downtown if you wanted to go there today

I've seen several couselors/therapists, and by far the best for me has been Dr Phil Carverhill. He's a PHD psychologist and his rates are pretty high if you don't have insurance, but he's very good.

I've seen this question a lot, and one of my first I have is whether or not finances are going to be an issue. There are ton's of counsellors in the city, although some are not cheap. Saskatoon Health Region has free counselling, although can have wait times. They also have drop in counselling to see people quicker. To get set up or find out more, call the intake line at 306-655-7777. Next, Catholic Family Services and Family Service Saskatoon are based on sliding scales based on your income. So if you don't make as much, you don't pay as much. Beyond that, there are lots of suggestions in this thread. As mentioned, finding a good fit is going to be important, so do some googling and check out profiles that you feel would fit your current concerns the best. Good luck, and good for you for seeking support through your difficult time.

Jodi Schwab at Armstrong physio at the field house was great to work with. It's thanks to her that I can now easily jog a 5 k whereas before I couldn't run for more than 30 seconds.
