Indoor rock-climbing gym in JC? (Also, any gym recommendations?) Hi there!
Since I already asked Google this, I guess it's a long-shot. Might as well ask y'all before...

I've been a member of [World Boxing Gym](http://www.yelp.com/biz/world-boxing-gym-jersey-city) for about 10 years and I love it (and have recommended it on this sub many times). It's inexpensive: you can join for 1 month@$55, 6 months@$280 or 1 year@$490. Also, it's clean, the equipment is kept in good working order, the staff is helpful, and the members are friendly and mostly keep to themselves. It's really a no-frills gym but they do have a few classes (which I've never attended). I think it's a great place to work out.

For cheap gym check our blink fitness in J.sq. $15 for grey membership which you can only go to that gym, $30 annual service fee. Blue membership is $20 for all locations in NYC, JC and Paramus, $40 annual service fee. Don't know if they still have this promotion but it was $1 to sign up for whatever membership you choose. They told me they will be opening in Mid- January and the official location of the gym will be in the Capital One building across the street. All they have right now is a storefront right next to the H&R block.

If I remember correctly there was one in Elizabeth inside the recreational building near Ikea and Jersey Gardens but I have been there in about 2 years so I'm not 100% on that.

None in JC, but there are a few in North Jersey that are easy to reach if you have a car. I'm partial to [NJ Rock Gym](http://www.njrockgym.com/), but a few friends stand by [Gravity Vault](http://www.gravityvault.com/). ... and then there's always [Brooklyn Boulders](http://www.brooklynboulders.com/) if you want to catch the train or work in the city.

Savannah has two gyms across the street from each other on Abercorn, Globo Gym and Average Joe's. Globo Gym has all the bells and whistles that you want out a modern gym, and they have this neat Cobra theming while Joes has a nice color scheme, but their building is kinda old and their membership is weird. Ya'know, six of one, half dozen of the other.

Check out Alvins Gym on Waters. $35 month but you might be able to get cheaper deal for the week from the owner David Coleman.

Why not Planet Fitness? I believe their contractless option is like $10 a month and the contract one that includes tanning and hydromassage is like $23.

Seems everyone has given you advice on where to go, but honestly why not just do some body weight workouts, sprints or longer jogs, and maybe throw in a kettle bell? You can get a great workout without the assistance of dumbbells, barbells, or a treadmill. Hit some pavement. Do some pushups and crunches. You'll work up a sweat in Savannah just walking outside.
Anyone kno a good gym or personal trainer in savannah??! I'm finally gona do it!!

Brandi J. Carter with beastmode is good. That's where I would go if I had a job to pay for it. Go to her page she put video up. I talked to her a lil bit before about wanting to do the same thing.
