Ok... Where can we get a lobster dinner in Portland, ME that's delicious and not too pricey?? We have to eat lobster, it's pretty much the law here, but we only have one...

I would probably choose Portland Lobster Company at 180 Commercial Street. Lobster's fairly pricey everywhere, but they give a pretty good meal for the buck. IMHO! I'm a native, but I seldom get lobster - it's a rare treat!

Drive up to Freeport and go to Linda Beans across from L.L.Beans!

For the ambience, ya want a place on the water. Lobster Shack in Cape Elizabeth is great. Portland Lobster Co, in town Portland, on Commercial St has a Great vibe. But I'd suggest, Harraseekette (spelling?) Lobster and lunch on Freeport's town landing. May be most reasonable option. Closes at 7:45. All these have tight parking. Just take the truck. ;) There is another place in Scarborough, south of Portland. Small place down by the Scarborough boat ramp. Their beer onion rings are awesome. You could take the Tiny House to this one. Parking at boat ramp large enough to turn around in.

We ended up trying three restaurants!! And all of them were delicious. 1). Pine Point. Excellent recommendation. Awesome fresh fish, the brusselsprouts were to die for and the carmel that came with our dessert was perhaps the best we've ever had. Truffle scallops? Yes please!! Great little spot 2) Duck fat. We had to try this local fav. Just had a big order of duck fat fries and two local beers, but it was delicious and the place is just our style - tiny! 3). Portland Lobster Company. Another great recommendation. You order at the counter, eat at picnic tables on the waterfront with a bib covering your chest and butter covering your face. Low key with live music, even on a Tuesday night! Yummy and affordable (for lobster), we were impressed. Thanks everyone!!!!

There's a place on a cove in Port Elizabeth. You eat outside on the water and the food is great. It's about $25 per full meal which is sadly pretty cheap. It's called The Lobster Shack

A few miles down the road is Hometown Buffet in Portland. They have a buffet. Go online and sign up and they give free meals. I think breakfast is only on weekends though?
