Can anyone recommend an oral surgeon in Elgin to extract a wisdom tooth? Preferably someone affordable since its out of pocket.

I had a positive pain-free experience at Northwest Oral across from Sherman. www.nwoms.com It was $200-something (I can't remember exactly what) for one tooth extraction (I got a wisdom and another tooth removed). My insurance is paying for part of it. It was fast and I was terrified but it was incredibly smooth. No complaints from me. Good luck!

Dr. Finger is the #1 oral surgeon in the Elgin area, he's located off of McLean Blvd. Most dentist refer their patients to him when they need a tooth extracted. I went to him and had to be put to sleep since both wisdom teeth were impacted, so I had to pay a bit more due to the anesthesia etc. But everybody was very friendly and informative.

First find out if it's impacted cause u might need anesthesia, if that is the cause it could possibly go under medical. I had 3 pulled by Dr. Finger years ago.
