You know you're from Marine Park if you used to go to Leon's bakery. It was the best Bakery. My Mom bought all my Birthday cakes there. Does anyone know of any other...

Teena's Cake Fair in Canarsie is amazing also. I used to get cakes from Teena's, cookies form Aliotta and bread from the store next to Alliotta http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/3/41483/restaurant/NYC/Canarsie/Teenas-Cake-Fair-Brooklyn

@Kevin Hyland THANKS for the memory of Rutta Bakery Aunt Nora Stapleton (who lived next door to you) worked there. When I was VERY young, Aunt Nora used to get Mr. Rutta (clueless as to the spelling) to give us free Charlotte Russe when Mom was taking us home from shopping at A & P on Quentin Road. Super YUM!! Don't think I have seen a Charlotte Russe since Rutta Bakery closed in my childhood...

Might have been one there too. My Mom liked to shop at Joyce Leslie and the womens shoe stores at the Junction.
