I am looking for a good seamstress here in town, just a simple hem on new Yoga pants. Any suggestions? Thank you.

SarahSupernova KaliShanti makes and sells clothes around the verde valley. She uses a wondeful strestchy, cozy silk for yoga pants, shirts and dresses. I would totally recommend this beautiful being of light! She is on my friends list!

Richard David Clothiers right at the "Y" (202 SR 179) has a FIT/NYC trained tailor on-site M-F or by appt. 928-282-6938, who can do hems while you wait. Usually in about 10 minutes.
Recommendations? I'm looking for a great yoga center in West Sedona, ideally Hatha based but definitely NOT hot yoga. Mind-Body-Spirit consciousness. ✨ Thanks!

Looking for "by donation," or "free" yoga classes in Sedona. Any ideas?
Sue B. replied:
I called Sedona Meditation Center - all of their classes are $15, none are by donation.
Michael H. replied:
Saturday mornings class is by donation, usually $10. Jiu said at Sedona Meditation Center.
Heather T. replied:
Any currently scheduled "Free community classes" can be found under that category selection on the calendar page that Marc shared above. Currently there is only one at Awakenings on Thursday evenings at 6 pm, slow flow and gong. Neither 7C or Hot Yoga have on in Sedona (according to their online schedule) at the moment, although they've been known to in the past! Sedona Kirtan Yoga has a by donation (suggested $5). You can search by teachers or venues under tags OR style (including free) under categories. We hope you enjoy the resource!

Go see Jiu at Sedona Meditation Center on Jordan. She has a free class every Saturday from 10-11 and a brunch for a $5 donation. They are a non profit organization. Great Holistic Yoga without all the other stressful postures you find in some other practices. They focus on Brain education and honoring your body temple.

Thank you Carolyn Ford. Hello Julie, I am not sure if you are familiar with CoreAlign. It is in the Pilates family and focuses on neurological reconditioning. It definitely integrates breath work. In box me or text me at 928.202.0435 if you would like a demo. It has helped so many people with all kinds of challenges.
