He isn't in San Antonio but I highly recommend Dr. Bill Collier in field store. We just recently moved to Dilley and I still haul any horse that needs to go to the vet to him still. I don't trust any one else to touch/look at my horses.

Dr. Ball at bracken equine!!! His practice is amazing and they are amazing great vets!!!

Field store is between Waller and magnolia. It's a haul from SA it's about 3 hrs. But well worth the trip, he does everything chiropractic work dentistry with the air tools. The other vet Dr. Randall is awesome too. Like I said I still haul my horses there even though we are in Dilley now!

The Whole Horse, in San Marcos. Amazing, thorough vet, starts with natural remedies wherever possible. Has her own dentist there, as well as barefoot farrier. I live 6 hrs away and if I have a horse in pain, I haul there.

I don't know if you would consider south austin too far but I have used Austin Equine Associates for years and absolutely love them!
