Can anyone recommend a good doctor in Nassau for gym injuries? I hurt my elbow while bench pressing and I’m getting pain when I try doing certain lifts. I suspect some...

I went to this place for a shoulder injury. They are great, its a whole practice and specializes in sports injuries. Orlin and Cohen sent me there https://www.longislandphysicaltherapy.com/

I used to get that pain in my elbow doing lat pulldowns. It will eventually pass. Change your workout around a bit. Save your money.

I assume your doctor examined you for obvious trauma and any other stuff doctors look for. If that was good I recommend you try to find a good physical therapist.
In the meantime, and I'm not your doctor of course, one thing that works for me to rehab nagging injuries is very high rep sets on recovery days. So mayne something like pressing just the bar for 5 sets of 30. Enough to get the bloot flowing and the repair process moving but not enough to keep reinjuring the site.
But a good PT (preferably a DPT with a focus in sport medicine) is invaluable. They know exactly what to look for and have advanced treatments that can work wonders. I highly recommend it. Sorry can't recommend mine, he moved out of state.

Dr Bennett Brown, Orlin & Cohen. He is usually at their merrick office but he does work out of the Lynbrook old liberty mutual building for surgeries & appts sometimes. He's AMAZING. He's done both my wrists for carpal tunnel 4 weeks apart. He did my Ex wife's wrist, my siblings & all specialty surgery or work. I tore something in my wrist working on a rifle a little a year after my carpal tunnel release surgery & he had it healed & fixed in no time with no surgery

You want to find an orthopedic doctor who specializes in sports injuries. Some recommendations: Dr Goodwillie of Northwell Health, Dr Mathen (I think he specializes in upper extremity injuries) of Central Orthopedic. I don't think you can go directly to physical therapy without a doctor's diagnosis and prescription, or that's what I've been told. All the best.
Close to Nassau, but Dr. Robert Moriarty in Huntington is amazing. I slipped a disk in my back 10 years ago and couldn’t afford PT. He gave me exercises to do that improved it a ton. I rarely have flare ups now since I keep up with those exercises. Great doctor, definitely recommend.

Shazan Hushmendy at central orthopedic group. They have an office in massapequa and Lynnbrook or RVC? I am 100% sure of massapequa. This guy is the doctor you want to see for sure. Surgery is his LAST option and is very through and down to earth. 11/10 recommend

Skip the MD and see a physical therapist. They’ll be able to help you rehab it and if necessary refer you to an MD.

Steven Rokito in Great Neck operated on my shoulder after being diagnosed with the douchiest of conditions “weight lifter’s shoulder”.
