Does anyone have recommendations on an orthopedic doctor that specializes in feet?
Claire L. replied:
Dr Webb, in Seymour
Mike D. replied:
Dr Seaworth at ut ortho. Very nice dr. I just had foot surgery and she did it.
Kim H. replied:
Dr. Michael Webb is an excellent podiatrist. He has done surgery on my ankle and treated me for years.
Jennifer V. replied:
Dr Oros & Dr Scott Smith at University Orthopedic Surgeons have been involved in all my surgeries-great group.
Candi D. replied:
It is not all about medicine, I have MS and RA,try something natural before any kind of shots or surgery. If you have problem with your feet it will affect your ankles, knees hips and back. The business is called For The Health of It. 803-712-3338. They are located at The Islands and of no way am I related or friends,I had smoeone send me there because I was in excruciating pain.Which I have NONE now. Good Luck
Audrey F. replied:
Dr. McPeake with KOC is wonderful. He operated on my husbands feet.
Marjorie P. replied:
Has anyone heard anything about Dr. Testerman at KOC?
Patsy B. replied:
Dr. Webb in seymour
Christopher C. replied:
Dr. Webb
Marjorie P. replied:
Has anyone had surgery with Dr. Webb? He is a podiatrist and we seen him and he was very nice. Primary doctor said we should get a 2 nd opinion from an orthopedic doctor.
Barbara M. replied:
Dr. Michael C. Webb, 319 Blue Peacock Way, Ste. 1, Seymour (up behind Atchley's Funeral Home), 865-573-5551
Kathy S. replied:
Brantley Burns at tn ortho
Wes T. replied:
William Oros University orthopedics, fixed my shattered ankle and operated on a gorilla for the knoxville zoo, definitely one of the best in knoxville
Candi D. replied:
If you have planta fachiitis or any kind of pain, go to the Islands to a store called For the Health of It , 803-712-3338. I had severe pain and do not believe in Medication for pain ,maybe Tylenol and especially Cortisones shots which deteriates the bone. I am TOTALLY without pain in my feet.
Janet D. replied:
Knoxville Orthopaedic, Dr. William McPeake, sometimes they call him Dr. McFeet! http://www.kocortho.com/
Carla T. replied:
The best treatment I ever found for plantars fasciitis was wearing shoes that helped, and I stumbled onto them by accident. Bought a pair for other reasons, then found that they all but eliminated my foot pain. Skechers Shape Ups, and it has to be a certain style. http://www.amazon.com/Skechers-Womens-Shape-Ups-Metabolize/dp/B001N0MS3I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1428939203&sr=8-2&keywords=skechers+shape+ups These reduced my pain drastically within a week. A lot of people have good results with Danskos too. For any of you with this condition, I hope you get some relief.

Jamie M. replied:
Try Dr. Jennifer Anderson Maddron. I don't know her take on your wishes but she is amazing and very personable. Lifesprings Women's Healthcare.
Tori D. replied:
Dr. Richard Love. He's with Leconte Medical
Macey F. replied:
The OBGYN has nothing to do with the vitamin k and hep shot the babies get. Dr. Hollingsworth is a vaxx pusher. pm if you wish.
Tricia B. replied:
Dr. Love
Dana W. replied:
Baby co. In Knoxville does alot of that kind of stuff.
Tabby M. replied:
Dr Maddron is amazing . She delivered both of my babies and didn't try to push me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with.
Julie P. replied:
Dr Maddron at Lifesprings!
Samantha U. replied:
The female at Dr. Loves office was amazing. Let me walk during labor and delivered with minimal interference and immediate skin to skin.
Jessi K. replied:
Baby Co Knoxville for sure.
Sabrina T. replied:
Thank you all for the fast replies back. It will help so much since i feel pressed on time. I did contact Dr. Maddron today and hopefully i hear back soon. I will definitely be looking into the options provided also. I don't mind if i have to travel a bit to Knoxville either. Dr. Love at Leconte was who i saw the other day. And besides my wishes he was very rude and fast to cut me off when i spoke. And at the end he said "you can find another Doctor if you like but this is how i do things". Also telling me a birthing plan is unnecessary. And didn't even acknowledge my partern who was sitting in the room also.
Ashley M. replied:
Doctors think 30 seconds is delayed cord clamping. We are using the birthing center in Knox. Baby and company. Cord can stay on as long as I like
Patricia H. replied:
Dr. Richard Love ... he's the BEST!!
Misty C. replied:
I highly recommend Dr. Korten at New Life. I'm not sure what he will tell you but you can ask him. He's truly amazing!
Abbey C. replied:
Dr. Maddron at life springs
Autumn B. replied:
Laura Berardi!!! She delivered my baby after the fire... she save my life for real.. it's doctor loves office.. he's a awesome man.. but I personally like Berardi.. but it was the both of them I saw through out my pregnancy ..

Danyell B. replied:
Dr. Korten and Dr. Gurrea and I am sure they can help you with finding a doctor that does non vac. Both of them work at New Life and are amazing doctors
Reba B. replied:

Kaila F. replied:
Dr. Guerra at new life is literally amazing. He was with me through my miscarriage and this pregnancy.
Kristina S. replied:
I'm currently going to Dr. Jennifer Maddron at Lifesprings Women's Health Center. She is wonderful, but I really want to use Baby + Company. It's in Knoxville but they are a birthing center and would probably be more flexible about things such as delayed cord cutting. Hospitals are much more strict, the birthing center environment allows you to do what is most comfortable while maintaining complete safety. https://www.facebook.com/babyandcoknoxville/
Casie R. replied:
Have you considered a doula? You should talk to Barbara Steppe of Free Spirit Doula. Very experienced and in tune with your needs. I believe she does some work with Baby+Co as well. I think she may also do a free consultation. You owe it to yourself to meet her. Very resourceful and totally amazing! https://www.facebook.com/FreeSpiritBirth/

Dr. Jennifer Maddron
Emily L. replied:
I've been seeing Dr. Blache through UT and I really like her in the fact that she's pretty open to whatever you want. I've not felt pressured to do anything a particular way! She's very personable in my opinion.
Christine A. replied:
You've got a lot of answers here, I'll add to the pile I wouldn't use anyone locally except Maddron. I feel like I was pushed into an unwanted cesarean with Women's Care Group under false pretense, but I was satisfied with their maternity care. Perhaps had I know more at the time it would have been prevented. I drive to Newport to see Dr. Jennifer Sauceman as a pediatrician for my daughter. She doesn't love that we don't vaccinate, but they don't kick us out either. I wouldn't see Hollingsworth again if he were my last hope. I simply don't trust him. Not sure if you're having a boy or girl, but since you seem like an open minded mama I just want to throw in that I hope you have done thorough research about circumcision and decided against the unnecessary and dangerous procedure. I'm happy to offer information should you want it. Congratulations on your coming babe, and I wish you a calm and beautiful birth.

Dr. Korten in Sevierville
Lisa S. replied:
I recommend Dr. Brabson. I had 2 babies under his care. The first was an attempted vbac, and the second was a repeat c-section. He was very supportive of my vbac attempt, which unfortunately wasn't successful. I had a family centered c-section with my last. He was all for it! No eye goop or vaccines. Not one word was said about it after we refused them. Plus his staff is amazing and friendly!
Brittany S. replied:
Leconte women's center Dr. Berardi Loved her!
Kristen M. replied:
Dr. Love---Jennifer Green at LeConte! She's a practitioner who is amazing! I had both my babies there because of her. Both wonderful experiences with Dr. Love too, just don't have your kid on the weekend lol.
Annie W. replied:
Dr. Love office!! He delivered all 3 of my babies and was extremely helpful and caring in every way possible!
Barbara S. replied:
Hi Sabrina and welcome to the area! doula mentioned earlier and have a number of suggestions for you. Most of the MDs/midwives who practice as you request are going to be in knoxville. Dr Branson and Dr Eaton are very good... Brabson also has midwives. Baby and Co is having many insurance issues otherwise they are an option too. I'm with casie... wherever you decide to go particularly if you can't come into knoxville, a doula is a wise decision for many many reasons... www.freespiritbirth.com
Tonya M. replied:
Or Dr Guerra they are in the same place together:)
Amber T. replied:
I loved my doctors at leconte women's health care. They would have done delayed cord clamping for my son but complications arose. As for pediatricians Dr. Hollingsworth requires his patients to be vaccinated.

I use Middle Creek family practice. I have a bit of a fear of going to the doctor, and my Dr, Candice Stewart, is amazing and so nice. She listens to your opinions and symptoms and takes them into account. They take must insurance, also.
