I used to go for a very long time to http://www.tokushinkai.or.jp/english/clinic/guide.html Before it was located on Dagu lu. Since 2-3 years its located at 555 Nanjing xi lu. They used to have a very good doctor, who is not working there any longer. Now somehow the quality dropped a bit. Last time a guy who looked quite sketchy cheeked my teeth. Decided not to go there anymore. Hence I cannot recommend this particular branch anymore. Will try this French place which was recommended by another poster.

I second this ? Is there anyone with advice on ball park price for caps, crowns, root canals and cleaning?

I'm usually happy with the services rendered at United Family Hospital and wouldn't really want to go anywhere except a hospital doctor in China when it comes to this but cannot comment on prices.

Dr. Anna Pogorila Young Dental Care Suite 422 Bldg 4, 570 Youngjia Rd. Shanghai T: 4000 1616 58 dranna@yong-dental.com It's near Hengshan Station. I downright refuse to go to another Chinese dentist. (The last two that I went to had horrible breath and had rotten-looking gums.) This dentist is from the Ukraine; her English is really good, and she definitely has high standards.

My family runs a small dental clinic in Bangkok with a very accessible location (right next to an MRT subway station). I am not a dentist therefore I am not qualified to diagnose or able to give you any quote. However, if you're interested in stopping by, feel free to message me and I will provide you with the location/contact.

I've always done well at Mission Hospital in Bangkok. Dentistry is what they're known for. The prices are reasonable too. (aka cheap) and the quality of the work I've always thought was excellent. No hustlers there either. Best to call them though first though, for the details of your needs.

1. We have plenty of dental care, There should be no problem for foreigner to get one as well, as long as you're in the country legally. 2. 4000THB would be my estimate, I normally have to pay 800THB for each filling, no complication tho. 3. Any dental clinic would do the trick really. If you think the place seems shady choose somewhere else. I can count 4 privately own dental clinic near me alone. The dentist should be able to speak english, but you have to get pass the receptionist first(Who will probably ask the dentist with language help).

Hey guys, anyone know where can I find a hospital for a general check and a dentist?
I'm coming from Australia and over here it's extremely expensive.
Cheers.
Anya M. replied:
If you don't have insurance then Australia is cheaper than Shanghai. Dental visit in Australia 150-500 AUD, Shanghai might end up to 1 k USD. Basic Health Check would be 300 -500 AUD, in Shanghai 300-500 USD.
Donny C. replied:
Try some Taiwanese hospital like Ruidong. They offer English speaking nurse to assist. Much cheaper
