I agree^^^ Dr Lyon at kosairs is the best! I wouldn't take my son anywhere else! Plus the new location has a sick side waiting room an a non sick side waiting room Which is nice if you have a new born!

Kosair Medical center, its located beside McDonalds in Shelbyville. On the same end of town as Kroger. They are amazing. Always fit us in same day when needed. No long waits!! Dr Lyon is my kids favorite.

Dr. Tia Alton at Kosairs. She is amazing and spends more time with her patients than any doc I have ever seen. My children see her and I refer all my patients to her too.

Dr. Laura White is amazing! My kids have went to her for years. A lot of doctors offices have switched over to a call center if needed after hours but with Dr. White if you ever have a question or concern after hours she ALWAYS answers her phone no matter what she's doing. She is a very caring person and truly cares about her patients.

We love Dr Schuster and Dr Wetherton of Oldham County Pefiatricd. They have offices in LaGrange and Hurstbourne.

Dr. Laura White is amazing. Many patients drive from Louisville to see her in Shelbyville. Not affiliated with a group or hospital. More holistic than most and will suggest oils/natural healing before over-prescribing meds

I take both my boys to Springs pediatrics in Louisville. My new addition will be going there as well. I can call them 24/7 365, and if my baby's are sick they get me in within 1-2 hours of me calling. The doctors also came to the hospital to see the boys the day after they were born to check on them. I LOVE THEM!!! It's only a 25 minute drive.

Future hope pediatrics. Laura White is one of the best pediatricians that my kids have had. I wouldn't trade her for the world.

The pediatricians at Kosairs Medical Associates do not give meds unless it's a last resort. They always get me in and Dr. Lyon and Dr. Alton always take time and never make me feel rushed, even if they fit us in.

We used to go to Shelby Pediatrics and were unhappy so we switched to Nortons by the McDonald's with Dr. Lyon and she has saved my daughter from a lot of pain that the other pediatrician couldn't figure out. I would highly recommend her!

We see Dr. Chris Berkhahn with Metro Pediatrics in Louisville. It's about a 25 minute drive but after a less than stellar run at a pediatrician in town, it is worth it for us. He actually sees lots of patients with disabilities and is the head pediatrician for some of the residential pediatric treatment facilities in Louisville. We almost had to take my 8 month old to the ER this weekend and he insisted on facetiming with us to avoid an unnecessary visit.

If you're up for traveling to Louisville, I recommend Dr. Chris Berkhahn at Metro Pediatrics. He sees lots of kids with disabilities (as a special education teacher, we spent a lot of time talking about it during our initial meeting with him). He is also the chief pediatrician for the residential treatment facilities for kids with EBD in Louisville so he has a lot of experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind (he insists on FaceTiming with us if my girls are sick on weekends to avoid an ER visit). After a not so great experience in Shelbyville for the first 3 years of my daughters life, the 25 minute drive for competent care is totally worth it for us.

Middletown Pediatric is great with my son.

I recommend Dr Tia Alton with Norton Children's at Governor's Square in Shelbyville for pediatric services. She is with a great bunch of doctors.

Dr. Alton or dr. Lyon with Kosairs is who I take my son to. They do a wonderful job

If you want to drive to Lawrenceburg I would give Danville Pediatrics a try. They have an office here and in Danville. My girls have been going there since they opened. (502) 598-3042 is Lburg office (859) 236-1080 Danville office. Our favorite is Angela!

I love Dr. Dartt! He's been my Dr for years! (Before he went to med school, he was a practicing veterinarian! ) BUT, he is a wonderful listener and never makes me feel rushed. He always takes his time & asks lots of questions.

I agree with Katie. We go to Dr. Dartt. Our grandsons do as well. I like others in with him too. It's North Gate (1 or 2 words?) Medical - turn off 127 like you're going to Dairy Queen - it's on left just past Bennett's.

Lora Ann Clark Sanders is correct. The other Dr's in the office are also good. Dr. Wilson and Becky Durbin is a ARNP. She's great too!

All Children Pediatrics in Middletown!

We used a pediatrician in Shelbyville for 3 years and were never thrilled. We switched to Metro Pediatrics in Lyndon at the beginning of the year and we love the doctor. We see Dr. Chris Berkhahn (owner) and he is highly intelligent and thorough. He is very knowledgeable of breastfeeding. It takes less than 30 minutes to get there.

Dr. Siegel, Shelby Pediatrics, he is a great doctor. I love that they have a well waiting room, and a sick waiting room, so that when you take your child for just a checkup, there is less chance of getting germs. I also like all the different themed examining rooms, that Dr. Siegel decorated himself. It just shows how much he really cares about kids.

Another vote for the amazing Dr. Laura White@Future Hope Pediatrics! She is amazing the staff is super friendly and when you have a sick kid when they are not open SHE will answer her phone and talk to you! Nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. White!

Also another vote for Dr. White! But it also depends on what type of parent you are... I am no helicopter parent who takes my child for just a fever or cold. She is a doctor that listens to your concerns but also believes that not every time you come in for something minute, it requires medicine! I absolutely love that about her!! So if you want a doctor to just give you meds and be on your way... She isn't the doctor for you! But if you're a little more homeopathic, I'd definitely recommend her! ☺️

I've heard nothing negative about any in Shelbyville but we have been with Middletown Pediatrics for 18 years. Love both Dr. Mark and Dana Distler.

We went to All Children Pediatrics. My daughter also had bad allergies/asthma and saw Dr. Wampler who is a pulmonary specialist.

My son has crohns and since this is a life long illness I'm very picky on my doctors. My boys go to Dr. Lisa Lyons. She is wonderful and was on top of getting my son diagnosed and to the right specialist.

Norton's Children's Medical Associates of Shelbyville. The doctors and staff are amazing We take our 3 kids there and we deal with everything from asthma to Chiari malformation they are always knowledgeable and helpful.

Then there is a pulmonologist Dr Morton downtown Louisville who deals primarily with child with lung problems such as asthma, C.F. etc.... he is the best

My kiddo has allergies and asthma too. We see Dr Feger at Family Allergy and Asthma. He has a background in pediatrics and is awesome! We see the Norton Children's group in Shelbyville (NCHMA). They are awesome!

Dr. White will definitely not push vaccinations, however, we found that she was not thorough enough for us. We are now with Dr. Chris Berkhahn at Metro Pediatrics in Louisville and find that he is comfortable with an alternative vaccination schedule but he is extremely knowledgeable and caring.

I love Dr. White. My friend also highly recommend Dr. Thind in Middletown.

I take my son to Dr. Nick Hinkebien at Growing Healthy Children. I did delayed schedule with him... he's up to date on all shots but he never got more than one at a time. They were fine with it and very easy to work with!

Dr White at future hope pediatrics! We've been there for almost 9 years and no regrets! There have been times we've just showed up due to living away and a death and he was seen immediately! There aren't many around that will just see you...they'd send you to the ER instead to spend tons!

We love Dr. Siegel and Wendy Warren, PA at Shelby Peds. They have cared for our boys since they were 2 and 6 months (now 15 and 13) and our 5 year old daughter since birth.

Tiffany Justice is the best obgyn ever!!! She was my Dr with my 2 nd child. She used to be at advocates for woman, which is also good, but your just another patient there. She really cares, is honest and really gets to know you! Best Pediatrician is Dr. Chris Berkhahn!!! Can't say enough great things about him, my family loves him!!! Both are in Louisville, but worth the drive for the care you get!

We have used the midwife groups at Clark and UofL for our two births! I cannot say enough great things about them if you desire low-intervention, evidence-based care. We love Dr. Chris Berkhahn at Metro Pediatrics for our pediatrician. We spent 3 years using a pediatrician in town and it has been a breathe of fresh air to switch to him. He is compassionate and extremely competent.
