Looking for someone who does alterations for less expensive than bridal salons. Just ordered my dress this weekend and wanting to book with someone who isn't hugely...

Bonnie Doon Tailors (back side of Bonnie Doon Mall). I had two quotes for my alterations over $300 and they charged me $125 and it was perfect.

I used Kelly Madden. SO happy with how my dress turned out. Cost is going to vary depending on the work you need done to the dress, so keep that in mind. I guarantee I still paid less than any bridal shop would have charged though. She got my dress back to me sooner than expected as well. Highly recommend! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kelly-Madden-Clothing/122374634498957

I used Master Tailors(780-488-4656)! I had gone to Manal and she messed up my dress. I went to Luba at Master Tailors and she was amazing!!
ISO - websites (with reasonable shipping charges) or local stores for bridal shoes, thx

Beyondtherack.com - found a pair of authentic Badgley Mischka's on their site for $125 + GST & shipping (less than $10). Other sites had them listed for $350+. Actually, just looked and they have Badgley Mischka heels on sale, with $2 shipping for the weekend!
Wondering if anyone has ideas of where to have a bridal shower that is not at a family members home. Anyone had there's somewhere they loved?

The Melting Pot. If you don't want to do the 4 course meal, you can just do cheese and chocolate...or just chocolate.
