One thing you should know when looking for a plumber....don't hire any plumbers that have the "smiley face" by their name. An American company bought a bunch of plumbing companies in Canada and if anyone will rip you off, they will!
Does anyone know of a fairly decent price good quality plumber? I may be bypassing the husbands work and hiring a professional. We've been in our house here for 4 years...

I'm a plumber. During the day it could be a few hundred, depending on how much is damaged, after-hours could be even more.

i wud assume u need to get epcor to turn off your water regardless of whether the plumber shows up. as far as i konw, only epcor turns off the water at the property line.
Mounma replied:
Thanks everyone. I had to call someone right away and ended up calling ez plumbing and they came and did the job it did cost me a bunch tho. They had to turn the water off for the whole block since my water shut off on the property line didn't work. Asked the epcor guy if i should call and get it fixed he said there is no point and that they probably wouldn't even come fix it.

Just read your message and thought to help you here in searching for a quality plumbing service in Edmonton. You can search plumbing tips online if you want to do at your own but if you really want a quick solution then go for the professionals. There are lots of professional plumbers in this area and I personally used residential plumbing service from Dunnriteplumbing company. So far very satisfied with their service. They use advanced plumbing techniques and quick in service. You can find their site [here](https://www.dunnriteplumbing.ca/). Thanks
