Thank you Heather Witherow! My mom has had a tough few years. She's had Multiple sclerosis for about 19 years. Took a fall about 6 years ago and broke her hip (that's when she ended up in a wheelchair). She was SO close to getting out of the wheelchair after years of Physical therapy until she took another fall and fractured her Tibula/Fibula in her leg. She's so headstrong that she hates going out in her wheelchair because she always feels like "people are staring" so she's put her "girly beauty needs" on a permanent hold. My husband and I just recently built her a set of parallel bars so she can build her leg strength at home as well as at physical therapy. So I'm hoping a make over will give her that heap of confidence she needs for this last stretch of work until she's on her feet again!
