https://www.summithealth.org/summit-providers/ruediger-kratz-md Hands down the best neurologist in the area! I DO NOT recommend any of the doctors at Cumberland Valley Neurological Consultants.
Crystal N. replied:
Dr. Kratz

Wellspan neurology in York. We've been seeing Dr. Vivian Faircloth for 14 years.
Seeking recommendations for a neurologist nearby, preferably one experienced with the elderly.
Rebecca W. replied:
Dr. Stanton Sollenberger. Cumberland Valley Neurosurgical Consultants in chambersburg.
Dawn M. replied:
Dr Sollenberger is the best. Only thing about him tho his office is always packed and you don't always get in at your appt time. But I would wait 10 extra hours for him. But for an elder I don't know how they would do. He is associates are great too. I see him.oersonally but have worked with him too at the hospital as I am a RN. He did two spinal taps on me while pregnant and got it on first attempt each time which is hard in pregnant ladies as you can't curl up in a ball due to the fetus.
EC P. replied:
Dr G Timothy Reiter - Penn State Hershey Medical Center - he is my neurosurgeon and head of neurosurgery there and he also deals in neurology! Not a better dr in all the world!
Bertha M. replied:
I wouldn't recommend Dr. Sollenberger either, he misdiagnosed me and the meds he prescribed caused so many problems I couldn't function and blacked out randomly
Tracey C. replied:
And Dr Sollenberger has no bedside manner. Tells a chlostrophobic (sp?) to 'suck it up' when the open MRI machine was unavailable.
Patty B. replied:
Dr Sollenberger 764 LINCOLN WAY E, CHAMBERSBURG, PA 17201 (717) 263-3850

Dr Kratz is thr absolute best in the area. Stay far away from Dr Yang.
Roger-Elaine F. replied:
I would recommend Dr Kratz.
Kirstie P. replied:
Dr Turnpaugh in Mecanicsburg is a Chiropractor/Neurologist and he is really good, he uses natural supplements and diet first, most doctors just like to give you drugs that can cause side effects, but Dr. T is really wonderful. Here is his facebook page if you'd like to take a look https://www.facebook.com/TurnpaughChiro?fref=nf
Kirstie P. replied:
Here is Dr Turnpaugh's web page too http://www.drchristurnpaugh.com/
Scott M. replied:
I would never recommend Dr. Sollenberger. He said I had a seizure when I had a cardiac arrest.
Recommendations for a good neurologist in the area!!?
Dani S. replied:
Dr Kratz hands down! He's out of Wellspan in Gettysburg but also has an office in Chambersburg. Stay away from Dr Yang!
EC P. replied:
There is no one better than Dr G Timothy Reiter (goes by Dr Timothy Reiter) he is at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center in Hershey - yes its a alittle drive but he is so worth it! He is a neurosurgeon and also teaches it there at Penn State but he also deals is neurological issues!
Dr Kratz!!! My mom has MS and he is the only doctor I would recommend to anyone! We have tried other doctors (I won't mention names) and we were never happy until we got referred to Dr Kratz!
Has anyone ever had their daith pierced to help with migraines? If so, could you recommend a place to go? My daughter's neurologist recommended this for her.

Creative Hands in Waynesboro. We took our 14 year old there about 6 months ago for this piercing. She has no other piercings. Nate was amazing!!! And her migraines are 99.99% better! I would suggest this for anyone suffering from migraine pain!
Can anyone recommend a headache specialist in the area? I'm looking for a bit more than just a general neurologist. Willing to travel a bit if necessary.
