My band Metal Toyz at Rockfest 1983 at Veteran's Park Amphitheater. It was a great show with some great bands. If you have pics of of any Bands at that show; or names...

Johnny Vickers still lives in Sport
David O. replied:
The line up at that time was Tommy Miller playing the red Dean guitar, Jake the Snake Jacob on bass, Buzz Boyed on drums and me Dave Stelts at the time guitar and lead vocals. The line up changed a few times over the next few years. Our next drummer was Bruce Leach, then our drummer was Kevin Davis after that. Jake played bass for a band called Identity before joining Metal Toyz, and from 1984 on Carl Bamburg was our guitar player that came from "Flame"

Rusty W. replied:
I was there! That made a huge and lasting impression on me. I remember a band called Castor Hex rocking out. Waited around all day for Danny Johnson and the Bandits and remember Mark Griffiths playing guitar and blowing us all away.
Dottie S. replied:
Rusty White... God, I haven't thought of Castor Hex in years. I just had a major flashback. lol
Paul S. replied:
Saw Metal Toys at the tenth floor frequently!!Great band!!
David O. replied:
We later acquired Carl Bamburg on guitar who before joining us played guitar with Don Damboise in a band called Flame.
Bobby M. replied:
Johnny & Jeff Baldelli
Carl B. replied:
Been awhile since I've seen this post.. had forgotten Castor Hexx being mentioned.. That group included Joel Golson on guitar, Alan Fox on bass, Joe Linebarger on drums and me on guitar.. as I remember it, we played mostly original songs.. The band name came from the little town where my Pop was born, then we slapped 'Hexx' on it to try to be cool.. Case closed lol..

Moviesauce is awesome. They've worked with a few local bands (Engine/Wall Chargers, Hwy Lions) in making their music videos and also do the film prize. http://moviesauce.com

I live in the still photography world, not video, but I do have a little advice: Don't hire anyone who doesn't have their own camera(s).
Does anybody remember a tune from the 80's titled "show and tell". I think it was a Shreveport band, possibly Exit, but can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?
Anybody know why I'm hearing marching band music bouncing off my house this morning? Not complaining...just curious. As a former band geek, I've enjoyed hearing the Byrd...
