OK, the place was called the Costa Sands. Not exactly upscale, but the grounds were sprawling with lots of shops and restaurants nearby if I didn't want to go out into the town one day. The main problem with it is that a lot of international schools book themselves there during the holidays, I found it too crowded and loud during weekends. Honestly, I'd spend a bit more money and go to a nicer place (my room was already paid for though). Bout $89 to $140 uS dollars depending on the kind of room you want, I think. I stayed only at the Pasir Ris location, so I don't know about other ones. It was a 30 min MRT ride into the city center. http://www.costasands.com.sg/special-deals/
