Looking for a pediatrician in Sidney. We are self pay right now. Anyone have suggestions?
Darla H. replied:
Dr Potter in Gendive
Jessica H. replied:
Dr. Scordalakes (not sure if I spelt it right) and Dr. Council are the only 2 pediatricians in Sidney. Both are good and know their stuff. I'm sure there will be tons of comments otherwise, but I've lived here my whole life and know them. We use Dr. S, and my daughter loves him. We use Council as backup and he knows his stuff, he just has a little bedside manner issue. But people take it way too much to heart. They are both great though.

I take Gavin to Dr. Kemp in Williston. We love him he is absolutely the best and worth the drive
Kirstyn J. replied:
Another vote for Council! Once you figure his personality out it's not an issue! He will research the hell out of situations and fight hard for your kiddos! He wasnt on our insurance the first few months and it wasnt too expensive. We had bedside/personality issues with Dr George when our son was born but many of our friends love him too.
Buffy O. replied:
Dr. Scordalakes and his entire staff are great!!
Zoe H. replied:
You’re going to want to avoid Sidney Health Center altogether, as a self pay patient. Their billing department is atrocious.
Natasha B. replied:
From personal experience I don’t recommend scordalakes. Dr Potter in glendive was awesome when I went to her with my twins.
Aleshia L. replied:
Dr. Scordalakes and Dr. Council, dr council just recently seen my dr in the er and did all he could but then had to send her to Billings, very very smart drs if u prefer not to drive 50 miles for a drs appt those r the 2 best in Sidney i even prefer dr Council as a dr for my self he is a family dr so he sees adults to
Lois U. replied:
Dr. S in Sidney is who I take my three kids to and we have never had any issues
Kalina B. replied:
Dr. Potter at the Gabert clinic in Glendive.
Fantasia K. replied:
Dr. S is great. But there is also family practice Dr. Rosa-re. She is good also.
Tonya G. replied:
I take all 3 of my kids to Dr. S in Sidney. I haven't had a problem with him. I didn't care much for Council, I've seen him once and that was enough.
Alexis S. replied:
We have Ericca Berry (DNP) and Dr. Potter (MD) who are both pediatricians here. Both are fantastic. My son has been to both, he currently goes to Ericca. My son isnt fond of the Dr. And he loves Dr. Berry.:) (Glendive Medical Center) I am fairly sure we are much cheaper as self pay then Sidney Health Center also, unless things have changed.

I agree, Dr Council is a great doctor and knows his stuff. He is our family doctor. His bedside manner is not the greatest but if you want good care and knowledge I highly recommend him.

Doctor Trevino is amazing when my Pediatrician in Williston moved I started taking my Daughter to him I love him. I am a mother of 4 and have 12 grandchildren I wouldn't suggest anyone else. I have tried several here in town.
Tasia B. replied:
Dr George scordakales
Kelsie D. replied:
Dr. Trevino! I don't trust any other doctor with my kids!
Jessica M. replied:
Dr. George scordalakes
Lois U. replied:
Dr George at sidney health center
Jamie A. replied:
I liked Dr. Trevino, I changed because he doesn't do vaccinations in-office; you have to go to the Health Department which charges an arm and a leg because they don't bill 99% of insurances, you have to pay up front and submit a claim to your insurance company yourself (my son's first set cost over $400). This is too much of a hassle for me. I changed to Dr. Scordalakes because they do in-office vaccinations and bill my insurance. So far, I've been pleased with Scordalakes.
Laura C. replied:
My son sees Dr. George. We like him as he's straight forward and has a gentle demeanor. Saw Dr. Council in the ER and despite his lack of bedside manner he didn't make my toddler cry which counts for a lot in that situation. I have also seen Trevino in the ER and was happy with him as well.
Pediatrician recommendations? Looking for someone near the sidney area. We don't have insurance. We like to keep things all natural... but would like to get our son...
Amber F. replied:
We use Dr George Scordalakes at Sidney Clinic we mainly just go for well child visits...
George Scordalakes is the only pediatrician, but Dr. Council and Dr. Rosa-Re are family practice. Jacq. Free is a FNP in Fairview that is great for kids over 2 I think.
Does anyone know if scordalakes (pediatrician) will call in a prescription for pink eye over the phone without a visit if you've been seeing him a long time? My son has...
