I remember Dr. Swafford well. He sutured a bad cut, on my left thumb, that I obtained while working for Elmer and Freeman Greene. About twelve stitches, I think, and I still have the scar. I always liked him and regret that he died so young.

Thinking about switching from our pediatrician to a family practice doctor. Does anyone know of a good one around here that will be open to more holistic, natural...
Stephanie F. replied:
If you find one let me know, I've had the same problem. Dr Leland has been great with my vac decision but that's about as natural as he gets. I have a naturopath but she's in STL, I try to just touch base with her once or twice a year.
Mandy H. replied:
I love Dr Hunter-Pearson for us but when it came to my daughter the baby and complications we had to end up going to a pediatrician anyway, because she didn't know what was going on with her. Definitely pro vaccination, they freak out every year when I don't get my kids flu shots, and that's just a flu shot, can't imagine how they would be with regular childhood vaccinations. I would just call around to different family Drs and tell them you are looking for a family Dr, you do not want your children to get vaccinations, is this going to be a problem and see what they say
Crystal D. replied:
We use Dr. Hunter-Pearson too! We love her! She's always respected our decisions!
