To see all of the library book sales: http://www.krl.org/programs-and-events search: "book sale" The big Sylvan Way Library (East Bremerton) Book Sale is this week, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Saturday after 12 pm is $5 for a bag of books. (It's both post-library books & donations ranging from like-new to antique.) [The book sales are run by each branch's Friends of the Library group.]

I know, it's awful that we don't have a bookstore:-( The best place I have found to buy books, oddly, is the St. Vincent de Paul store on Callow (off 11 th). They SORT the books there (general fiction, lit. fiction, mystery, etc) and alphabetize by author. Trade paperbacks run $1.25 and $1.95. MUCH better than Goodwill, especially the sorting!
