Bella Venecia is good but a little pricey. I've been wanting to check out the new Your Place expresso bar on Brisbane road down from mcdonalds. It looks inexpensive & pretty sure it's licensed. Or a bit further along brisbane road is that mezze tapas bar opposite the B.P just before you go over the bridge to kawana.

Shalimar Indian Restaurant in Mooloolaba is great. The food is amazing and they are very reasonable. Great service and they got booze! Across the road from the Surf Club.

Mezze Bar on Brisbane rd- I went there on the weekend, funky little joint with Greek tapas. Great atmosphere!

Thai Lotus on Brisbane rd, Mooloolaba - Opp Bollywood. Meals are $10 lunch or $13.95 dinner. Free water & BYO has no corkage charge. Friendly service fantastic flavours, (recommend the Red pumpkin chicken curry)
