Depends what kind of groom you want. Pam Booth at Dale dog Grooming at Feizor near Settle does our cocker, but that is not hand stripping, but is scissor and clippers, so is done in a couple of hours .. a full hand strip takes much longer and will be more expensive...

Not sure if you can travel but if you can The Dog House in Addingham are excellent. My cockapoo suffers with separation anxiety too and I’ve had her clinging round my legs in the past when I’ve taken her to be groomed but she walks in fine at The Dog House. Just btw have you tried a Thunder Shirt?
