Hi all, I'm opening a cafe with gift shop at the end of the month in Whitby. I would like to use the produce in the cafe...

At Danby mini market there was a lady selling jams - just looked at the jar in my cupboard and its Winnies Yorkshire Delights. https://www.facebook.com/winniesyorkshiredelights

Resolution Hotel and Grapevine are both great! Grosvenor in Robin Hood's Bay kids eat free and excellent food. The Forge in Aislaby fantastic home cooked local cuisine.
Rachel A. replied:
We had Sunday lunch at The Forge Aislaby today and it was brillant. Service was great and food awesome
John A. replied:
Estbek House - prices from £34 for a 3 course meal, a bit above your average Sunday lunch? No doubt it is very fine dining, but not a Sunday lunch style of the pub lunch - 2 AA rosettes says it all. I'm with the Firge at Aislaby or The Horseshoe in Egton Bridge - no longer needing to be dubbed 'the bottom' as the other has closed.
Can anyone recommend a really nice restaurant in Whitby. Used to love the quality of the food at Number 4 up on the parade as a treat on the rare times we could stay...

White horse and griffin is very special non-fish and chips/seafood fare. Moon and Sixpence is also lovely for non-seafood stuff.
Hi! If anyone could suggest some local shops, cafes etc that are housed in interesting/unusual buildings I would be grateful. Thanks. #writemyarticleforme

Dunsley Hall, wonderful big old house set in its own grounds, lovely friendly staff, great service, great food, very special and very relaxing. Drink in the bar, eat in the dining room, relax with drinks in the lounge afterwards.
Does any one know if the Thai restaurant Kamthai near church Street is still open. Their website says they are relocating, does anyone know where to. Cheers.
