Cait H. replied:
I would say Dimitri Maos at Complete Dental. I don't think he advertises as being specialist and they don't sedate but he was the dentist that got me through my phobia, alongside a therapist I had phone sessions with. There was a specialist I did think about seeing in another part of Birmingham but they only did private. Dimitri has coped with me crying, and trying to pull his hand away and always been really calm and kind.
Gillian W. replied:
I have the same problem now and I go to West Park Dental Practice in West Park road

Ben Edwards@Hagley Rd Dental in Quinton. He’s private not NHS but very good with nervous patients.

I wonder if anyone can help I'm around 40 started to get Gaps in my teeth so probably need a brace does anyone know of any dentist in Bearwood and also obviously not...
Dominika B. replied:
You are welcome to arrange a free consultation at our practice www.signatureortho.co.uk. However I would advise that you have had a dental check up with your regular dentist within the last 6 months as there might be a reason for the gaps to appear if they were not there before
Mat R. replied:
Mark Tangri on St Mary’s Road http://www.marktangri.com He’s very good.
Dominika B. replied:
Braces are only free for children under 18 if they qualify for NHS treatment (it has to be severe enough). This applies to NHS orthodontic practices and the most severe cases are often treated at the hospital. Occasionally Dental Hospital accepts adult patients for orthodontic treatment but only very severe cases. Last time I heard of a wait of 5 years for an adult patient. Gaps are usually classed as cosmetic treatment so unlikely to be accepted there but your dentist should be able to guide you and refer if they feel you have a chance of being treated there.

Iveery O. replied:
Hi all. I have been seen by a dentist at Complete Dental but was a young lady instead of the guy you all recommend. Now, I have to go back to see this young girl for a quite invasive procedure so I am wondering if Dr Maos(?)is the only one you recommend because I read bad reviews on NHS website so I am quite terrified to go there again if maybe the other dentists of this practice are not equally qualified. I don't want to add damage to damage. Thank you for your help!
Iveery O. replied:
No Miriam Sadler. It was KP. I put initials for confidentiality. I also didn't have a bad experience, I just never heard of her and she's very young. If it wasn't that I have to go through something delicate, I wouldn't mind so much who I am seeing. The practice has 8 or9 dentists and the reviews are either 1* or 5*,so I guess people have seen dentists with different qualifications. Thanks

What time is advisable to call Complete Dental for urgent appointments? Thank you all

Christine C. replied:
I'm afraid emergency services at The Dental Hospital will not be resumed until Next Thursday at the earliest, and that will be a skeleton service and at The New Build, which is opposite Cannon Hill Park, on the old Pebble Mill Site. The only way to access these services is through 111. They will also advise what to do in the interim period.
Victoria S. replied:

Thankyou everyone for your help.. I'm abit rubbish with geography...tried to get to Leamington Spa once & ended up in Cheltenham!!!!!
Robert H. replied:
It goes up Grainger's Lane to Five Ways traffic lights, which is at the west end of the High Street. If you see the LIDL, you have gone too far, and need to get off there and walk back. AS has been said, you need to get off in Grainger's Lane just before the Five Ways traffic lights, back entrance to the market and the Iceland. It is about 300 to 400 yards after going under the railway bridge. http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=18/52.47044/-2.08228
