Can anyone recommend a good vet in Bearwood? Need to get my dog registered..
Span W. replied:
I'd also recommend Yourvets at the Queens Head. We've had a dog's end of life there, as well as a new puppy and a cat's boosters and they're fantastic. They're also 24 hour and far cheaper than Bearwood Vets because we moved from them.

We use blacks, they have many surgeries across the region, the closest prob being causeway green rd, oldbury, lovely staff on re reception and vets are brilliant. Would recommend John O Flynn lovely with your animals, very caring nature always does best for your pet not their pocket x

Manor vets r the the best. Bearwood road ate horrendous. Or the one in queens road are very good.

Manor Vets, Sandon Road, just outside Bearwood. David Beechey absolutely fantastic vet!
Hi, can anybody recommend a decent vet? Preferably one where the insurers can pay the vet direct instead of paying hundreds upfront. Thanks
Ruth S. replied:
I use Manor Vets, they have always been great with my animals. They have other branches too so if it's a desperate need to be seen quickly you can get an appointment at another site.
Deb Y. replied:
David at Manor Vets on Sandon Road has always been excellent with my dogs.

I have used Manor vets at Sandon Rd for 30 years now, since before it was Manor. They have always been great with our assorted pets, including some exotics, if they don't have a free appointment you can be booked into Quinton. We have had rabbit emergencies over a bank holiday weekend and it was no problem to get an emergency appointment and in-patient care at the Quinton clinic. Since they have built a car park round the back of Sandon Rd life has got a lot easier. Nice to have more continuity of care than I get at the doctor's. They have a website
Sarah B. replied:
I use Blacks Vets in Quinton, bit further but they have surgeries in oldbury, lye, sedgley and Dudley. Dudley in. Royal Vet College approved animal hospital and a specialist in all sorts of areas. Sorry but I think they are better than Manor Vets and they have a large insurance office that will deal with all the various insurance companies. I've claimed £15,000 and never paid anything other than my excess
Anil S. replied:
Manor Vets are very good too. I had costs over £2000 but paid nothing except the excess. The vets were paid directly and dealt with it all themselves I just had to give them my policy number.
Manor vets. they have 3 branches Hayley Rd, harborne now and Halesowen - I’d give them a call and see where their reptile specialist is
David C. replied:
try Your Vets
Jane T. replied:
i've seen more than one undulating sack and similar in the waiting room at Manor Vets on Sandon Rd. They were very good with our unusual pets. They have specialists in exotic and zoo animals
Hi everyone; need some help if anyone can give any advice - around Anderson Rd at about 8 this morning, I came across a German Shepherd. As far as I could see he has no...
Does anyone know anyone who can do vet runs? I have got to get my dog to the vet this afternoon and I don't think a taxi would be ideal this time. Thanks
Thinking of taking up a part time vet nursing course (evenings). Anyone know where I can take one that doesn't require you to work in a veterinary environment?!
