Any VA moms who can recommend a good ENT, pediatrician or pediatric dentist who regularly sees/treats infants and toddlers with upper lip and tongue ties?
Sindy S. replied:
Dr Lee at Oyster Point in Newport News. He has treated several babies I know.
Sindy S. replied:
The naval hospital will clip if they do anything. Dr Lee is the only one I know who does the laser revision.

Morgan - I'd love that dentist's name. Draighean is due for her first check up, regardless if they treat ties or not. Sindy - is Dr. Lee a PCM or an ENT?
Sindy S. replied:
He is an oral surgeon. I hear tricare does not cover thee laser revision. You should message Selena about this. She is an expert considering all the tie issues her kids have http://www.oysterpointoralandfacialsurgery.com/
Me n John need to start looking for a pediatrician, any advice?

Dr. Matthews in Smithfield and she is wonderful... my nephew goes to the chkd place right beside obici and they suck really bad... they kept diagnosing him with strep throat and it was his abnoids... they ended up swelling to the size of golf balls before anyone realized what was going on
Danielle L. replied:
Suffolk Pediatrics seems to be the most mentioned, so I think they will be in the running. I want to explore my Smithfield option's too tho, to be close to home.
Amanda S. replied:
Dr Matthews at st Lukes . Jax loves her !
Kristan P. replied:
We use Suffolk Pediatrics which is also a CHKD office by obici but not the big building which sounds like the one Jessica is talking about... that one is Nansmond Pediatrics. All the docs and nurses have been great and the front staff is very helpful! The facility itself is very nice and clean! Good luck!
