Despatete Dogs is a ways away, but if she wants a great place to train and socialize she should give them a call! They have a FB page. Take a look.

Personally, I've had great success with Dog School 101. Love them and have the best behaved dogs as a result. http://www.dogschool101.com

Tenasity is fantastic! They have a 2 week boarding/training camp (we used them for in home sessions for our rescue puppy). They focus on positive reinforcement, work with many local rescue groups and have extensive industry experience. http://www.tenasity.com/

Comprehensive Pet Therapy is an excellent training school. They have classes, private classes as well as private training where they keep your dog and then train you when your dog is ready. We've used both the group lessons and board training with our first dog. http://www.cpt-training.com/

http://www.pacesettertrainingkennel.com/ they have a special training program for aggressive dogs. I used to take training classes with Andrea when I was in college. She's such an amazing trainer she had my hound dog fetching a dumbell after just 3 courses!

My rescued pointer just came home from 2 weeks at Canine Ranch in Canton (did a Board-n-Train while I was away). She is a former hunting dog who is 100 percent pure energy. I couldn't be happier with what she learned: sit, stay, down, come, not jumping, not door rushing, and loose-leash walking. When I picked her up, they spent more than an hour with me to teach me the commands to reinforce her training and gave me a video showing the trainer giving her the commands so I will not forget. They made learning fun for her -- her tail wags the whole time. It is very exciting to work with her now, everything (especially walking) used to be a major struggle and mayhem. No more! www.thecanineranch.com
