I have been ordered to Pilates by chiropractor to help build up strength in my core. Can anyone recommend a good class or teacher?
Rebecca B. replied:
I was thinking of this place because I'm getting desperate to get back to running. It's rather pricey though - if anyone wants to share a personalised class with me once I get into it that would be great. http://www.coolpilates.co.uk/
Holly P. replied:
Could you try Body Balance? It's tai chi, yoga, & pilates. I go at the Munrow Sports Centre at the University.
Laura G. replied:
I do Pilates at 'The Pilates Gym' at Becketts farm. It's £20 for an initial assessment then £9 per class. It is a tad pricey but Jenny's good, the classes are small and 6 months in I'm noticing the benefits of going once a week!
I'm loving this one at the Old Printworks on Moseley Road (opposite swimming baths.) £6 per 1-hour class or pay for 5 get 6 th free: http://www.oldprintworks.org/wellbeing/mat-pilates-for-beginners

In that case the one at the hub - that was full of people with lower back problems and the woman that runs it I believe is a physio. This was the last contact for her that I had if you want to try it. heathersmiley2005@yahoo.co.uk It was a Tuesday night at The Hub by the Hazelwell.
Recommendation please. Hi fellow Harbornians, can you recommend a local sports masseuse or Chiropractor. Bloody backs killing me, some would say too much golf!

Paul Paul Clusker is the man at BAC clinic Sutton and Walsall. He's brilliant
Margaret W. replied:
I can recommend Paul Robinson, an excellent osteopath who keeps me moving! 07813 026 945. Also a physio who works from various clinics, called Mark and contactable on 0121 705 3509. He's the kind of person who likes to get you fixed in one visit, which is great. Try to enjoy the rest of your holiday.
Hi Everyone!
Can anyone recommend a good Chiropractor that is local and has a good understanding of sport and work related injuries.
I'm afraid this could be the last...

I found Robert Swindells at Chiro Relief really good - his charges are reasonable. He looked after the Jamaican Olympic team while they were in Birmingham last year. www.chirorelief.co.uk
Helen L. replied:
David Evans at www.solihullchiropractic.co.uk sorted out all of my running pain issues and costs are reasonable. Good luck with sorting it all out.
Rebecca A. replied:
Have you considered a McTimoney Chiropractor? Can highly recommend them. There is one who works out of Kings Norton centre.
