It would help if you could share what you are looking for. IAPT is only six session and you can't get a new referral until 6 months after your last one. If you are willing to go private use the BACP or UKCP websites (these are accrediting bodies for therapist and counsellors) and will help you define your search parameters more specific. Also please see a couple of therapist before settling on one, most will offer a free consultation to see if you can work together and allow you to ask questions about their way of working. Hope that is helpful.
