Could anyone recommend a good lawyer in Somerville or nearby to have a simple will drawn up? Inexpensive would also be a big plus.

Not sure about the fees, but Moschella & Winston in Winter Hill also does estate planning. http://winstonlg.com/

My wife and I just used Karin Wilinski to do our wills. Very affordable (I think) and she was very helpful. http://wilinskilaw.com/ She's right in Union Square.
I was thinking of buying a nice bottle of whiskey for the lawyer who helped us with our house closing. Anybody in facebook land have any recommendations?

I'd second a vote for Scapa, although that's partially because I can see the distillery from my garden. Another local(ish) favourite is Old Pulteney which is just beautiful - the 17 Year Old especially edit: http://www.masterofmalt.com/.../
Any of my lawyer FB friends do elder law or have someone they've worked with they'd recommend?
Erin H. replied:
http://www.cspringlaw.com/ I haven't worked with her myself, but I know her through local business community groups and have heard good things about her.

Gretchen Gaynor?

Michelle Mulvena at the offices of Frank Dardeno. I haven't used her services, but she's in the Somerville Chamber of Commerce and she's given nonprofits advice on how to set up planned giving programs.

Audrey Heidt O'Shaughnessy focuses exclusively on Elder law and is great.

You may want to first consult with Deb Fuller at CASLS, who does elder law, to get her recommendation.
