I need a reliable English/Spanish translator for about an hour this morning. Must be willing to travel to Playa Laguna for discussion with staff members of small hotel.
looking to trvel to haiti for a week and do some volunteering.. anyone been? any recommendations? do not want a "mission based" trip, but rather freelance volunteering...
Sarah K. replied:
Contact Reginald Kerolle - he operates short tours but also does not-mission-based relief - good for info/links and may be able to help....Any specific area (reckon avoid Djabonne - 'mission'-city).If you PM me can also put you in contact with someone who works here but is in CapH for 3 months to work there - N Coast and pretty well developed for tourists but abject poverty on the ground). Good luck!
