We liked Dr. Emma Gavito - Joni Montover recommended her and we took our son there. Excellent staff - limited hours/days on the island though - usual and customary prices nearly matched our insurance plan despite her not being a preferred provider. I am likely changing to her from Los Fresnos Dental. Dr. Lalonde always acts like we have a lot of money ... and we don't.

I go to Dr. Gavito also. I have been very happy with her and her staff. She is now on the island exclusively. I understand she sold her Brownsville office.

For Pediatrics I like Dr. Thurber in Brownsville. I have also heard good things about Patino in Brownsville on Gloor (which is a little closer), but to be real, I always just end up at Boys & Girls clinic in PI because usually the illnesses pop up out of nowhere and I dont have time to schedule and appointment then do the 1.5 hour round trip. I have previously used Dr. Rocco and Dr. Thelma Gonzalez, also in Bvile

Dr. Otis Bouwsma at ABC Dental in Brownsville is amazing, and very reasonably priced. I also like the dentist here on the island, (Emma Gavito), but I changed insurance and she is no longer in our network.

Greengos Dental in Matamoros. Dr. Aldrete in Matamoros. Dr De la Rosa saenz, on the right at the back just inside Mexico, before first corner. Studied cosmetic dentistry in California with dentist on one of the make over shows.

Progreso. Extremely professional, well educated and far, far more affordable. Our Dr educated at NYU in New York and is also a guest professor there as well
