Dr. Stanley at Southern Oaks Animal Hospital. I have had the great pleasure of riding around with her on numerous farm calls and she has taught me so much. She loves what she does and really cares about her patients and clients. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her! You can call (910) 424-3011 and they will put you in contact with the large animal technician to schedule you an appointment!! Hope this helps!

Animal Health Clinic in West End. Great people!!
Lisa K. replied:
As a vet myself (but I only work with horses), I think it’s SO important to have an established relationship with a veterinary practice that can see you for emergencies and other issues that arise. My small animal vets know me and my dogs, and when I call in a panic because one had a seizure, or need help with a broken tooth or weird, bleeding bump, they are ready to see me at a moment’s notice. They know my pets, have detailed records, and can identify changes over time that may signal a problem. I value the ongoing relationship with them that gets my pets the most dedicated care possible. I’m a vet, and could order all the vaccines myself and give them, but I don’t, for all the above reasons. (I use Longleaf Animal Hospital)
Ashley P. replied:
X-way vet in Laurinburg is pretty good too.
Marsha R. replied:
Carthage Animal Hospital on 15 501 heading towards Carthage. They are kind and compassionate folks that know their stuff and offer walk in hours weekly which is super handy. Totally worth the extra miles.
Rodney V. replied:
We have been using Pine Tree Animal Hospital for our Doxies for 13 years and have been so happy with the care our special needs dogs have received. They also board our dogs when we go on vacations. Located on Hwy 5 in Aberdeen.
Alyce D. replied:
Animal Control will come to your home and do it. Few years ago had them come out and give shots to our 9 cats. So much better for the pets. Then it cost 5.00 a shot, not sure what it is now. You could call and ask.
Barry S. replied:
Longleaf Veterinarian. Great people.

Vanguard is the only AAHA accredited hospital in our area. If you just need rabies, the vet clinic at Tractor Supply on hwy 1 is great!

You have great timing! I show Pembroke Welsh Corgis and have their shots done at -- believe it or not -- Tractor Supply on Rt. 1 in Vass. The weekly service is run by VIP Pet Care, a national chain. The shots are administered by certified vets and techs. The price is very affordable and no appointment is necessary. The mobile service visits various businesses throughout the week, but is at TSC on Sunday afternoons.
Alison K. replied:
I also use Tractor Supply.

Hi Vikki, I run Golden Years Pet Hospice as adjunct to my equine practice. At the time I started the business, no one offered this service. Now you have a couple great choices! Whether you schedule with me or Yadkin Park, I really recommend Good Shepherd. A majority of my clients use them and I've used them personally. Their level of service and respect is outstanding.
Christy M. replied:
