Dr. Maureen for sure! My kids are older now but my niece's go to her and I have gone to a few apts there HIGHLY impressed!

Dr Skarvinko was just voted best pediatrician in Southington and Dr. Maureen was voted second best pediatrician in town. Either way you can't go wrong.

I have three kids and LOVE Dr George (skarvinko). I've had nothing but great experiences!!! Now that my daughter is in her teens she prefers to see pa Angela who is AMAZING also! Best part...they don't believe in overprescribing medications!!!

Dr. Blumer saved my sons life. Its all about how you feel when you meet them.

Cheshire Pediatrics. They aren't in town but close by on Rt 10. They are so so great! Dr. Kinsella is ours but every single one in the practice is great!!!!

We switched to Pediatric Associates (Dr. Loomis) in Bristol from Dr. Friedman. I had some bad experiences with Dr. Friedman - both insanely long wait times, and just a personality mismatch. I love Dr. Loomis, and recently saw Dr. Schiff (Dr. Loomis was out), who I liked a lot, too.

Dr Maureen all the way. She was our 3 rd ped and by far the best. So knowledgeable and amazing with the kids. She remember s everything, always calls back right away no matter what hour of the night. She even made a house call to one of my friend's babies

When my kids and I moved to town 7 years ago, my daughter (7 ish at the time) was afraid to go to sleep...for weeks. Dr. Maureen would literally get down on her level and talk to her face to face and tell her how she was afraid of swimming. She would set her goals and reward her when she accomplished them. LOVE DR MAUREEN!!!

I love Dr. George Skarvinko and his staff at Southington Pediatrics for many reasons...He was very reassuring and great with his visits after I had all three of my children. I won't deny that he is goofy but you have to be to deal with children all day especially when giving shots. All teens feel uncomfortable/awkward with men when going to the doctor. I did when I was young. My children love him and never cry when they get shots. He and his office always get right back to me when I call with questions....they are very family oriented and Dr. George and all of his staff are very knowledgeable and have been spot on with all diagnosis. I also want to say that they had no problem when I wanted to modify the timing of the vaccines given. I don't like them all at once so I spaced them out to my liking with each of my kids.

I had to go to Dr. Peterson when my son had an ear infection and he was on call for Dr. George on the weekend. He took a look in my son's ear and grabbed an ear wax tool that had visible chunks of dried wax on it. I had to stop him and have him clean it. I was so grossed out and will never go back. I did not feel comfortable there.

Lifespring pediatrics - Dr Maureen Onyirimba is awesome. All her patients love her. Been taking my son since birth. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Friedman. For one she was accused of fraud before moving her practice to Southington. (Google it) She is one of the docs on call for Dr. Maureen. I took my son here once. Never again. So rude and her office is dirty IMHO. Just my opinion of course. Others may like her. My rec is Dr. Maureen. Plus her staff are so sweet! Good luck!

Dr Maureen Onyirimba located in Bradley hospital. When I was younger and dr maureen and dr skarvinko shared a practice I hated seeing skarvinko. He was weird and miss diagnosed me multiple times. I'm 17 and still love going to dr Maureen and staff. They have the friendliest office and she is always on call. Best dr I've ever had. So sad I'm gonna have to find a new one soon because I'll be 18. But highly recommend her!

I have had all good experiences with Pediatric Associates. Dr Holland is my favorite. Their office is located right near ESPN: across from the double tree hotel

Dr Peterson. ....great guy great staff. Easy to get in there and never a wait. Also he is not the type to over prescribe medications

Dr Maureen Onyirimba is awesome! Your not just a patient your family. Her number is 860/426-9440 You won't be disappointed, you always see her, she handles it all, and her staff is great! She is always a phone call away even on weekends, it's reassuring.

Everyone loves Dr. Maureen but when I was looking for a new one a couple of years ago she wasn't taking new patients. I went with Dr. Alpa Patel and couldn't be happier!

We and our whole family and a good portion of our frind clans all see Dr Lamoureux at New Britain Pediatrics....they are all great there and my kids love him.

Pediatric Associates in Bristol (on West st) are great.

We love Dr Loomis and Dr Schiff at Pediatric Associates in Bristol. We moved to Cheshire and still go to them. Very down to earth ppl who have young kids themselves.

Personally, as a female, I had Dr. Scarvinko from birth-18 and he always creeped me out and made me dread going to the doctor.

New Britain Pediatrics is the best!!! They are only accepting newborn patients though, so my children go to Southington Pediatrics. I like them too, the doctors are VERY friendly. Do NOT go to Personal Care Pediatrics in Apple Valley Plaza.

Not in Southington, but Mary Simon M.D. in Farmington is excellent! I'm a nurse and there

Many docs I wouldn't recommend, but Dr. Simon is top notch.

Mark Peterson is also great. 2 nd choice. Not as thorough as Dr. Simon in my opinion. Professionally or personally,.

Southington pediatrics is awesome.. Both my kids go there ages 7 yrs and 6 mos. My 7 year old sees Dr George and actually looks forward to getting shots because he makes it funny for them. The nurse practitioners their are amazing too. I've never had a problem and they usually get me right in.

Dr. Friedman across from the YMCA is good, but she is a one person shop and she almost never runs on time, although I suppose the same thing could be said about any doctor. Anyways she sees my kids and will be seeing my 3 rd kid come this June.

I love Doctor Maureen. She's tough as she usually isn't taking new patients, but worth calling.

Dr. Angela Geddis PLV/NB Grove Hill Pediatrics. We've had her for almost 17 years now and she has been phenomenal. We've also had everyone else in the practice and they have been great.

Love Kensington/NB office of Grove Hill. Dr Rameriez is young, easy going and really good and my son likes him a lot. Plenty of on call doctors. Straight down Kensington Ave. Dr. Geddis is there as well. I think there is 9 Doctors in all in the practice.

I love Southington Pediatrics. I have two sons, who love both the two female nurse practitioners and male doctors. Their attention to detail has blown me away. I have never had trouble getting same-day appointments. Good luck on your search!

Pediatric Associates of Cheshire, O'Conner and Lieber are male, Kinsella and Herz are female

pediatric medicine of wallingford, love them! So worth the drive. Always get my kids in in the same day and they will see them on saturday mornings or even sundays if needed. There are 5 doctors and are all good. I love Dr. Beitel over the other 4, but any of them are good.

I go to SmartStart Pediatrics in Glastonbury, have been for 14 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Pediatric Associates (Bristol/Southington line) . Excellent doctors. Yes sometimes a wait, but they have also stayed after hours and opened the practice for my sick children. I have been there almost 16 years.

Pediatric Associates in Bristol. Right past ESPN. They are amazing and have female and male doctors. I've seen all the doctors in the practice (4) and I've loved all of them. They actually take the time to get to know you and your kids.

My kids go to Pediatric Associates also. They are very good. Sometimes long waits to be called in for your appointment but that probably happens most places.

I'm in the same boat. Dr Maureen isn't taking new patients, and new Britain isn't taking new patients unless they are babies I've been here for a year and still can't find one.

I have recommended him to so many people he tells me I built his practice. Bailey was the 1 st patient to sign up for him as a primary doctor.

Dr. Luis Alonso in Cheshire - he's great! Older so not sure if he will retire at some point but SO nice & kind, takes his time to talk to the kids.

Dr Onyirumba. She is wonderful and truly a very caring person. She will go to lengths to keep you're child healthy and she's like a detective to find out what ail' s your child. She's done that twice for my granddaughter.

If you are open to considering Bristol (by ESPN, so not too far), Dr. Carolyn Clark is great. She is with Pediatric Associates and the entire group is simply wonderful.

You can check but as of about a month ago Dr. Maureen is not taking any new patients. Dr. Friedman is good, but she's only one person, and the waiting times in her office are ATROCIOUS.

My kids have been with Dr Friedman across from the Y for many years...we've been happy and can get in when sick no problem....

Dr. Maureen Onyirimba, my girls are 23 & 22 so no longer see her, but they LOVED her and my 12 yr old son still see's her. Small staff and she is closed Thursdays, but Melissa and Jodi make you fell like family!

I would suggest Dr Norine Kanter part of New Britain Pediatric Group. I have a child with a non-threatining heart condition and his previous pediatrician had no clue every exam...she really made it a point to know each and every one of my kids (two teenagers and a 2 yr old). Also she called me after every emergency visit to the hospital to make sure everything was ok....she is awesome!!!

Pediatric assoc in cheshire. Right across from Highland School. Our ped Dr.DiMauro is retiring soon but we have seen his replacement Dr. Liebler and love him. All the other docs in the practice are great and there are both male and female docs if you have a preference. GL!

Dr. Babariz w/Prohealth in Southington was my "first regular" doc...and still is. He has a younger PA also..Frank Zametti, who is good as well. Both down to earth.

We used Dr. Bartfeld in Watertown. He is without question totally worth the drive. He is a very thoughtful and thorough physician. He is so so good. I wish he would move to Wisconsin!!

Dr. Kellogg at cloverleaf family medican is fantastic. My kids have been seeing him since Spencer was born.
