Another thought, I've heard of wood piles outside the house getting infested. Make sure wood piles are far from any wooden structure. Also, anybody interested to know, I treated the situation myself with "Tim-Bor" by sealing entry points and treating all the wood in my house with this stuff. It's harmless to humans and mammals and it gets in the wood and never leaches out. "Treated Lumber" is only effective for 10 or 15 years.
