Brenda Stoudt is an amazing pediatrician who supports raising vegan kiddos.
Danae S. replied:
We take our kids to Brenda Stoudt and she's been supportive of our diet as well. My husband (Jeff Schilt, at Northwest Spokane Pediatrics) also works in pediatrics and we are vegan; he's definitely vegan friendly. Also, I beleive Beth Morrill, CPM is a vegan friendly midwife.

Thanks for the tag Brittany Wirth. I'm a doula, massage therapist, Bowen therapist, childbirth and essential oil educator.
I'm looking for a naturopath that is vegan friendly. So many NDs that I know of follow more of a paleo type lifestyle.
Josh M. replied:
So far we only have no adult Vegan NDs but I am hoping that someone knows of one. http://www.inveg.org/resources/spokane/spokane-compassionate-health-professionals.html
Amanda S. replied:
I guess it would help if I used "vegan" in my google searches.....there are plant-based resources out there. It would be nice to see an ND that supports it though. I will call around. http://www.vega-licious.com/about/detailed-story/

As we all know, sometimes it depends on the education and professionalism of your server, to be sure. I've found this really true in CdA. I LOVE Syringa, but be warned- their miso soup has fish in it & I didn't learn this for a long time. Other fav e's- the Garnet Cafe, The Olympia, Thai Bamboo (& thanks to you guys Tessa, they seem even more transparent)!, Northwest Pizza Company, & Hagadone owned Bonsai. Most other Hagadone places will be gracious about putting something together for you, but it can really depend on the server, although you can count on the salad bar at Dockside. Pubs like Moontime,& Crickets also have a few vegan offerings on the menu. There was a great cook at the Moose that was super helpful, but I'm not sure if he's still there. I've also had good luck at most of the Mexican places. We also have Denny's, Taco Bell, Pita Pit, etc.

We always get the veggie bento... so good! Shelly Johnson ventured out last time and had them make the poke with tofu. So tasty! Bar de Nay also has a portabello sandwich and a pasta dish that they can make vegan.
