Springbrook Hospital is an inpatient psychiatric/drug rehab hospital. They will not help you. I use to work there. They do all their outpatient services thru Baycare. Do not send your child to that hospital. They will baker act them and push pills on them until they are a zombie.

While you look for a therapist is there a friend or family member who would listen? Oftentimes just saying the words out loud can make a big difference.

There's a place in Downtown on 9 th Ave called Jane Westin. They do walk-ins and it's free if you don't have insurance or money. They'll do a preliminary interview to figure out what kind of help you need and then refer you to a therapist/ psychiatrist/ both. I believe they also help you apply to Medical if you need that, and give emergency meds. Hope this helps.
