Second powertochoose.org - this should really be a sidebar item it is asked so often. In Houston, when you "select" a power company you are really just selecting who is going to bill you for power. It is all handled and delivered by Centerpoint. No matter who your power company is, you're getting same juice. For that reason, it makes sense that you should chose based on cost alone. Read each potential provider's fact label and make an informed decision - don't fall for free nights or wind power nonsense. That's all marketing.

Reliant is fine. I live in a 1 bedroom 750 sqft apt and never paid over $90/mo. As for movers, I would suggest thumbtack.com. They give you quotes from multiple movers and most moving companys do promational deals through there so you end up with a better price.

College Hunks. They bill per hour. Really decent movers, no hidden costs. I moved within the same building as well and hired them. They were quick. My move was mostly furniture as I had moved everything else. Took less than an hour.

I used All Jersey Moving & Storage to move from a two bedroom apartment in Somerset to a house in Somerville. They charged us like $900, which is based on the number for rooms, estimated time, and distance. We also paid extra for insurance.

About the cheapest I've found has been The Cleaning Authority. They do decent enough work to get your deposit back. Last place we lived in, the landlords actually wrote us a letter because it was so much cleaner than they expected!

Try the local community app Nextdoor. There are a lot of handyman / cleaning services. I found someone local to build my fence and mow my yard through there.
