Help me Philly brides! (In search of a planner). The title basically explains it, but I'm in the Philadelphia area and I'm in the process of looking for a wedding...

I didn't use a planner, so I can't recommend anyone specifically, but have you tried looking on [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/) or [Wedding Wire](http://www.weddingwire.com/shared/Search?geo=19128&cid=15&aovt=y&l=y&mm=n&vss=y&view_type=photo)?

I totally recommend starting to plan without a planner. See how far you get before you really think you need one! I got all the way to the end without ever feeling completely lost. And I spent the money I saved on a delightful spa day for myself =)

I'm in philly and just got married on Saturday in rittenhouse. What is your price range, and what are you looking for? I got quotes from about a half dozen planners and prices range from 1200 (just day of coordination and a few planning meetings prior) up to 12,000 for the whole shebang. Most are in the 6000 range. Ultimately, I passed on hiring a planner (aside from the day of coordinator, who by the way, was incredible), but I regretted doing so because work was too busy and my husband lives 1000 miles away, so the planning was overwhelming for me. Get a planner.
