Who is your home owners insurance through? My current insurance company cannot insure my home because of its age. I would like to have my cars and home insured together...
Betsy P. replied:
My agent is Carol Banta. Her number is 833-0011. She will find you the lowest cost, best coverage. I currently have Farmers Mutual of Ray County (I think), with vastly better coverage for not much more money than the last company I used.
Nanette W. replied:
We have Allstate and David Torgeson is our agent, he is awesome.
Rhonda F. replied:
My house and car are with United. My agent is Brett Peterman at Jones & Company Insurance.
Rita S. replied:
I use Deborah Wixson American Family 1341 E Kearney. 831.1224. My home is 121. Shield of Shelter, Joe Robles also had my home for a few years. Not all insurances will cover these old houses.
Can anyone recommend a good homeowners insurance company. I am over it with Allstate. Will be xhanging at the beginning of the year.
Kacy R. replied:
My husband, who is a contractor ALWAYS has problems with all state. He deals with different insurance companies on a daily basis...State farm is always good and American Family he said...
Dymphna F. replied:
Thank you Kacy Jo Rogers. I have been hearing good things about State Farm.
Does anyone know of an insurance company that will cover ABA?
Autism M. replied:
You might best begin this process by finding out what insurance the ABA therapist accepts or is willing to file for. Find out what the service providers licensing credentials are because some insurance companies are picky about who is doing the ABA. Then compare that with the requirements/criteria your insurance company has for covering ABA therapy. Even with the passage of provisional mandates requiring autism services to be covered (in the state of Missouri) some insurance companies do not cover everything. Service providers can register with your insurance company to be providers so that you can file claims for their services. Some choose not to do this, or simply don't meet the insurance criteria to be a provider for various reasons.
