We worked with Evan Deshong of Evan's Group/Keller Williams. Much better than our prior Murney agent, and I was really impressed with his aggressive negotiation. However, note we were buyers.

I used Kari Wyrsch Team, too! Listed our home and sold in 2 days at asking price and kept us updated the entire time. Super sweet and really funny, they comforted us the entire time. We used their buyer agent Chris Day to buy our next home. Same levels of communication and extremely knowledgeable. Kari 417-496-6073kariw@kw.comWww.homes417.com

I'm a college student too, and I just put my deposit on an affordable apartment close to campus by going through [The Wooten Company LLC](http://www.thewootenco.com/). I just emailed them with what I'm looking for what price range, they called me back within a day. A week later, I have an apartment. Hope this helps.

My wife (DreamSmart) just told me that the house she recommended has been rented. Sorry about that! My mom used to work in real estate here in Springfield, though, so I have a few tips from having worked with her:
The way to find rentals isn't to contact realtors, because they don't deal in rentals at all. They should have gotten back to you just to be polite, but they won't offer you any help.
The best thing to do is pick a location of the city and drive around it. If you want an apartment complex, you'll see some and can make note of their management companies. You'll see houses for rent as well--there are a ton in the Grant Beach Park neighbourhood that meet your requirements.
Alternatively, Craigslist is a good bet, but you'll find a lot less on there than just driving around.
There are a couple of rentals east of MSU, quite a few south and west of MSU, and a _lot_ west and north of Drury/OTC. We own our home west of Drury, but there are a lot of rental houses in the neighbourhood.
Good luck!

http://www.zillow.com/ is a great place to look for rentals or houses or whatevers you want. i would advise caution on craigslist. i actually work for a property management company and people use our craigslist post all the time to make scam post. if the add says any thing about missionaries out of the country then it's probably a scam.
Realtor suggestions? Looking for a realtor to buy a home any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Do not deal with Ethel Curbow. She is a hot mess. She tried to ruin our buy in 2001 over a $50 maintenance fee to pass FHA inspection. She was a real pain to deal with. Later, a co worker went home shopping with her. She ran out of gas (out in the country) and locked herself in the car and sent him walking! Needless to say she didn't earn any commission off of them.
