Get a spray bottle, lavendar and eucalyptus essential oil.... Put 10 drops of each in half a bottle of cold water. Shake it up. Spray it in affected areas, and those flies will leave. Flies, ticks, fleas, and other bugs will avoid the area where you spray. Cinnamon clove oil, keeps the bugs away as well. Try that, untill someone who can come help. GNC has oils... I prefer to get mine at Orchard Fresh in Orchard Park.
